Welcome to Carley Kay!

My name is Carley and I am a baby and family photographer in the Chicagoland area. I am a wife to my high school sweetheart and a mother to an amazing 2.5 year old and one on the way. My number one passion in life is being a mom. It's the most rewarding job I have ever had, and I thank God everyday for this amazing opportunity. I enjoy the small things in life and cherish the times I can spend with my family and friends.

I have always loved photography and creating memories for people. I believe that with each photograph you take, you are leaving a legacy. My hobby turned into a business, after my son was born! The pictures of his first days, weeks and months are some of my most favorite memories and I knew I wanted to provide those images for other families to have. One day, these pictures will share a story or show an emotion that only memories cannot give. I feel honored to be a part of my clients lives and document their special times, like their baby's first year. I love the creativity and the challenges that photography allows me to have. I have a very relaxed style and like to let the natural side of my clients come out during our session together. Another passion I have is design where I can create art from nothing. I am always using my skills in design while I take photographs and believe that it makes my photos unique.

The best thing about being a photographer is that I get to make friendships with all my clients from all over the map. I cherish that more than anything else. Besides, I have the best clients IN THE WORLD! :)
