Home RENO: Bathroom B&A

Well, it’s taken me forever to blog about this, but I’ve had quite a few requests to keep updating the blog on my house remodel. I’ve got some more updates to add, but to start….the bathroom. This was probably the most creative I’ve had to make myself be, as we worked with an extremely low budget and had lots to do. I’m picky about what I like, so I try not to skip the details if at all possible. I knew I wanted light and bright and clean and fresh. Who doesn’t want their bathroom like that? Well here’s what we were dealing with…..Yikes!

EEEEWWWW……I can hardly believe we lived with this for like 6 months. I will say, the very first thing I did to this house when we started demolition, was take those awful posts down. Boy did that give me JOY! We also ripped out both vanities, toilet and all fixtures. I would love to get a new tub as well, but budget will keep us from that for a while. Oh yeah, we also took down that horrible shower door. Did you know you could do that??? OH yes you can!! A gorgeous shower curtain will make that tub look sooo much better everytime!!

We layed new adhesive, groutable tile on the floor (which looks soo real) and painted everything white. I also love the look of white beadboard and decided to add it to the bathroom. Why not?? Besides, there were some imperfections on some of the walls that it covered up as well. I also wanted it to run horizontal instead of vertical. Best decision ever! Sooooo….here’s the after!

I absolutely LOVE all of the makeovers you have on here from your home! They are beautiful! I was wondering where what brand your sink faucet is. I love the style and would love to see more in the same brand. Thanks
